As of June 2020, Green Lake Massage Therapy will be reopening our doors to resume practice to our valued patients. In order to keep our patients and RMTs safe, we have taken significant steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in our clinic.
- Each patient must complete the “COVID-19 Screening” Survey prior to their appointment.
- Patient is required to wait outside or in their vehicle until waived to enter the clinic.
- Patients must wash their hands with soap and water or sanitize immediately upon entry to the clinic.
- A small hand towel will be provided and is encouraged to be used as a barrier for doors and other surfaces throughout the clinic as needed.
- All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between patients
- Masks must be worn by both patient and therapist throughout the duration of your visit including all portions of your treatment completely covering both mouth and no
- Only pre-screened individuals are permitted to enter the clinic
- Each patient must complete the “COVID-19 Screening” Survey prior to each appointment. This will be sent to you via email 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- If experiencing any of the following, stay home and call 811: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of sense of smell
- If you are a Health Care Worker and may have been exposed to patients with COVID-19, please refer to BCCDC’s Exposures and return to work for health care workers and take a moment for honest self assessment. If you are under the category of High Risk, please contact us directly and cancel your appointments until your risk level decreases.
- Green Lake Massage Therapy is notably a physically small clinic, and it is not always possible to maintain 2 meters distance.
- Please respect the recommended 2 meters distance where possible.
- Patients must arrive unaccompanied if possible
- Patients are required to wait outside or in their vehicle until waived to enter the clinic for their appointment.
- Patients are requested to limit bringing personal items into the clinic
- Treatment to the patient’s face will not be available at this time
- Patients are requested to use the washroom prior to arriving for their appointment to limit extra use and contact of common areas of the clinic, however the washroom will still be available if needed
- Patients must wash their hands upon entry to the clinic with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or sanitize with alcohol-based hand rub as provided.
- A small hand towel will be provided for you to dry your hands after washing and/or to use as a barrier for doors throughout your time at the clinic.
- Extra hand towels (and other linens) will be put away to avoid any contamination of supplies.
- At this time, payment via interact e-transfer to greenlakemassagetherapy@gmail.com is preferred.
- Payment via debit or credit using our POS terminal will still be accepted.
- Receipts will be emailed only unless specifically requested otherwise.
- All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected between patients (e.g. light switches, tablets, chairs, table surfaces, door handles, faucets, etc).
- Linens will be single use only, then laundered
- Massage table and oil bottle will also be cleaned after each treatment.
- Washroom high-touch surfaces will be disinfected after each use.
- PPE does not replace or reduce the need for other protective measures: pre-screening, physical distancing (except for treatment), hand hygiene, avoidance of face touching.
- Masks are required throughout the duration of your visit including all portions of your treatment.
